Layla Revis, entertainment, travel, and lifestyle reporter, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in English Literature. Upon graduation, she worked as an Adventure Guide in the dense jungles of Costa Rica. In addition to riding a leatherback turtle along the Panamanian border, rafting Switzerland's Class V rapids, studying culture and wildlife in Australia and New Zealand, and living on the 13th floor of an apartment complex in Buenos Aires, she has bravely worked as an assistant to a high-powered agent at CAA and served as an assistant to a production executive at Warner Brothers. She went on to write, "Who is Kitty Butterfield?" a series of short stories based on her Hollywood experiences, optioned by Industry Entertainment for television development.

Currently, she is a Contributing Editor at Los Angeles Confidential Magazine where she covers entertainment, luxury travel, fine dining, and charitable causes. She writes and concepts advertising campaigns for such high-profile clients as Discovery Networks, The History Channel, AMC, SoapNet,The Weinstein Company, Bravo, and Spike. She is also a travel writer and reporter for Item Magazine, a contributor to VH1: The Fabulous Life of..., Teen Vogue, Art + Living Magazine, Town & Country, Boston Magazine, i-94 and Ingenue.

She has recently completed writing for Fox's MyNetwork TV show, The American Heiress, and has just completed a novel, the very first in the Miami DiCarlo Mystery Series.

One day, she hopes to train at the base of Mt. Fuji in the ancient Japanese art of yabusame.
