WHO'S THAT GIRL?
Layla Revis began her career in media and marketing in the Literary Department of Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and in feature film production at Warner Brothers Studios in Hollywood. She has since served as the Vice-President of Big Picture Group, a Hollywood-based entertainment advertising agency specializing in high-profile integrated marketing campaigns for clients such as E! Entertainment, Bravo, Discovery, History Channel, Miramax, and Sony. Currently, as a Vice-President with Ogilvy's 360 Digital Influence team, she is the social media lead for the Government of Mexico and lends her expertise to clients like Bayer and The State Department.As a journalist for almost fifteen years, she was a Columnist and Contributing Editor at several publications including: Los Angeles Confidential Magazine, GenArt, Teen Vogue, Town + Country, and Surface Magazine. In 2007, she went on to found two travel magazine blogs, JauntMagazine.com and Eco-Adventurer.com, to cover luxury travel and stylish eco-friendly goods for the modern adventurer. She also writes about social media and activism for Mashable and The Huffington Post and has served as a speaker on Digital Innovation and Augmented Reality for IBM Smarter Commerce,The School of Visual Arts in New York City, and The Augmented Reality New York Meet Up. Her specialties include: multicultural marketing, international affairs, and travel/tourism. Revis was awarded a Distinction from The London School of Economics where she achieved a Masters of Science in New Media and Development and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania in English Literature.
